Mrs. Hartle and Mrs. Acikgoz took a group of 8th graders to represent LISA Academy West Middle School at the Girls of Promise Conference!

This inspiring event brought together 170 girls from across Arkansas to dive into the world of STEAM—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. From hands-on workshops to empowering talks with leaders, our students embraced every moment. We’re so proud of their curiosity, leadership, and drive!

Due to severe weather possibilities, aftercare and all after school activities today, Friday, April 4, will end at 3:00 PM. Please make arrangements to pick up your student by 3 PM.

LISA Academy hosted the Math Kangaroo Competition, bringing together 30+ brilliant students to showcase their problem-solving skills! Kudos to all participants for their hard work and dedication!

LISA Academy West Middle students achieved first and third place at the Regional Science Olympia competition and are headed to the state competition! Congratulations to these students for their hard work.

Congratulations to the West Middle Robotics Team for winning 2nd place in the Teamwork Challenge at the State Competition! Their hard work, innovation, and collaboration helped them stand out against top teams from across the state. This impressive STEM achievement showcases their dedication to robotics and problem-solving. We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to their future accomplishments!

LISA Academy is honored to announce that our Gifted and Talented (GT) program has been recognized by the Office of Education Policy (OEP) for achieving the best GT growth scores among large districts in the state. This prestigious recognition highlights our commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for our gifted students, fostering academic excellence, and ensuring their continuous growth. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated educators, supportive families, and hardworking students who have contributed to this achievement. This honor reaffirms LISA Academy’s mission to cultivate a dynamic and enriching learning environment where all students can reach their full potential.

Congratulations to the West Middle MathCounts team and their coaches, Mr. Yuksel and Mr. James, for receiving 2nd place at the State MathCounts Competition! Lily W. also received 7th place in the individual round. We are proud of our talented mathletes for their dedication, perseverance, and excellence in problem-solving. Their hard work and determination exemplify the spirit of LISA Academy, and we celebrate their outstanding achievements. Keep reaching for new heights!

Congratulations to the students from LISA Academy West Elementary, West Middle, West High, North High, and Online Schools for earning awards at the 2025 Central Arkansas Regional Science and Engineering Fair! Seven students from West Middle were also nominated for the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Award and one student from LISA Online School was awarded the NASA Earth System Science Award, and one student from LISA West Middle was awarded the American Statistical Association Award.
