Parent Teacher Conferences - September 17, 2021

LISA West Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences will be held VIRTUALLY on September 17, 2021.  The link to book appointments with teachers is below:
Additionally, several pieces of information that will be coming to parents.

First off – IPR (Interim Progress Report) grades are being loaded into the system and will be available from Monday, September 13.  Many of you are already seeing the IPR grades as many teachers are putting them in so that parents/guardians can see them quickly.  If you are still having trouble logging in to the Home Access Center, the front office can help.  Please contact one of our amazing secretaries by email – Ms. Brooks ([email protected]) and Ms. Kirkpatrick ([email protected]) and they can provide guidance.

Secondly – the ACT Aspire (the state mandated summative test) Individual Student Reports (ISRs) are being distributed to students to bring home (7th and 8th grade students only).  Please make sure to ask them for it.  The ISRs for 6th grade students are being mailed by the West Elementary school.  The ISR is simply the results of last spring’s testing.  However, there are always questions about how to accurately interpret the data, so to help that along, I will be using this week’s Parent/Guardian Webinar on Monday, September 13 at 6:00 to answer questions about how to read the Individual Student Report.  The link to that Zoom webinar is below:

Thirdly – Parent/Teacher Conferences are on Friday, September 17th. Students will NOT be in school that day and the conferences will be Virtual. An email with the links to schedule conferences with your student’s teachers will be sent out by Ms. French, so be on the lookout for that. The link is also here -

I’m quite confident that this information sharing can lead to very productive relationships between teachers, students, and parents and help to make our students’ experience of education that much better!
